TCA Memberships
We offer three different memberships: one for professionals with educational or clinical experience and an existing consulting practice, one for newer consultants who are just starting out in an existing practice or their own practice, and Emeritus members who have been consultants for years and who are phasing out in their consulting practice.
Professional Member
$400/year*
This is for professionals with educational or clinical experiences, and who have been actively working as a Therapeutic Consultant or Referring Professional for more than two years and serving a minimum of 15 clients per year. (Formerly known as Full Member)
Associate Member
$400/year*
This is for professionals with educational or clinical experiences that are newer to Therapeutic Consulting or serving as a Referring Professional (less than 2 years of experience and serving less than 15 clients per year). They are either joining an existing consulting group or starting their own practice.
Emeritus Member
$100/year
This is for professionals with educational or clinical background who have been a Therapeutic Consultant or Referring Professional for a tenured period. This professional is actively working towards retirement, has previously been an active TCA member, and is willing to mentor Associate Members who are not joining an established practice.
* An additional $60 application fee is charged for first-time applicants.

Expectations
Members are expected to be active in a TCA Consultation Group. These consultation groups meet virtually/electronically via monthly calls, and in-person when schedules align (such as at industry conferences). The purposes of the Consultation Groups are to provide ongoing support, feedback, training and information, and access to a network of high-quality professionals. Participation in a TCA training, meeting, or event may be used in lieu of a consultation group.
Professional Members are required to participate in at least four Consultation Groups, annually, to maintain current membership status. Additionally, Professional Members share, on a rotating basis, a commitment to engaging in a more regular collaborative/supervisory relationship with Associate Members seeking Professional Membership. Associate Members are expected to attend 12 Consultation Groups annually.
Please review the following documents before joining.
